What to Wear with a classic building in the background

UNR and midtown have some great options for classic brick building backgrounds.

Classic cement steps are beautiful in photos too!

What to wear for a clean, fresh, classic look?

Here are some great options!  Choose the one that vibes best with either:

  • colors you love to see in your home...
  • or colors that look great with your skin tone, eyes and hair.

Option 1. Sage + Cream

  • Sage green dress or overalls

  • Cream, ivory, or soft white accents
Feels clean, natural, and effortless. The green cools the brick beautifully.

Option 2. Blush + Light Denim

  • Soft pink (not hot pink)

  • Light wash jeans or chambray
Sweet, classic, and timeless without feeling sugary.

Option 3. Powder Blue + Tan

  • Soft baby blue or dusty blue

  • Khaki or light brown shoes
    Fresh-sky-against-brick energy. So good.

Option 4. Butter Yellow + White

  • Pale yellow (think daffodil, not neon highlighter)

  • White or cream
Instant joy. This one photographs like sunshine.

Option 5. Soft Lavender + Light Gray

  • Light purple

  • Pale gray or faded denim
Unexpected and playful, but still airy.

For siblings or multiple Loved Ones...

Mix 2–3 of these tones instead of matching exactly. Coordinated > identical. It keeps it lively and real.  Add some variety by choosing different TEXTURES, or a combo of some solid and some small, subtle patterns.

Try to Avoid

  • Bright orange (too close to brick, blends in)

  • Super neon shades

  • Exact brick-red matches (unless you want camouflage chic 😉)

  • Big, graphic writing and patterns (they steal attention from those precious faces).
